Find the right weekly layout
The 26 templates fall into six kinds of layout, in landscape (templates 1 to 15) and portrait (templates 16 to 26):- Open week at a glance (templates 1, 2, 16 and 20) - one column or row per day with nothing printed in it, plain or lined, for to-do lists, errands and notes
- Day boxes (templates 6 to 10 and 21 to 23) - the week in 2, 3 or 4 columns of boxes, in color or lined, most with a spare box for notes, goals or a meal plan
- Hourly weekly planners (templates 3, 4, 5, 17, 18 and 26) - each day split into one-hour or half-hour slots from 6 a.m. to midnight, including a version that spreads one week over two pages
- Weekly appointment planners (templates 11, 12 and 19) - business hours in 15-minute or 10-minute slots, for client appointments, meetings and bookings
- 2-week planners (templates 13, 14, 15 and 25) - two weeks on one sheet, for biweekly plans, pay periods and anything that spans two weeks
- Weekly box planner (template 24) - a 3 by 3 grid of boxes for the seven days and your notes, starting on Monday
What is on each weekly planner
Every template has a "Weekly planner" title and the days of the week printed, but no dates and no year, so it works for whichever week you start it. Most begin on Sunday, as US calendars do; templates 5, 8, 21 and 24 start on Monday, and templates 12 and 19 cover Monday to Friday only. Write the dates next to the day names yourself, or leave them out for a weekly routine that stays the same from week to week. There is no watermark across the planner, and the Calendarpedia logo and copyright line sit outside the space you write in.Ways to use a weekly planner
An undated weekly planner adapts to whatever your week needs:- a weekly to-do list, with tasks under each day and a box for things that can wait
- a weekly meal planner or dinner menu, with the grocery list in the notes box
- an hourly planner for busy weeks, so meetings, practices and errands all fit
- a weekly agenda for work, with deadlines, calls and the three things that must get done
- a weekly habit tracker or workout planner, checking off each day as you go
- a weekly study planner for homework, projects and test prep
- a family planner on the fridge, with everyone's activities in one place
- a weekly budget or bill planner, noting paydays and due dates
- a content planner for blog posts, newsletters and social media
- a weekly cleaning or chore plan for the household
Tips for planning your week
Plan on Sunday evening: write in the fixed appointments first, then the three tasks that matter most, then everything else. Carry anything unfinished over to next week's sheet instead of rewriting the whole list, and use a second pen color for plans that are not yet confirmed. For a reusable weekly planner on the fridge, laminate a blank copy or slip it into a sheet protector and fill it in with a dry-erase marker.Weekly planner or weekly schedule?
A weekly planner is for deciding what to do with your week: tasks, goals, meals and notes in open space. If you need a fixed grid of times instead - a work shift, a family routine or one schedule per person - the weekly schedules have a Name line and a Time / period column for exactly that, and the class schedules do the same for school and college classes. For a week with the dates already printed, see the dated weekly calendars under Related templates. How to print your weekly planner
These are ordinary PDF files, so they open in any web browser or PDF reader with nothing to install. The templates are set up for US Letter paper (8.5 x 11 inches): in the print dialog, choose "Actual size" or 100%, or "Fit to page" if your printer clips the edges, and set the orientation to match the template - landscape for templates 1 to 15, portrait for templates 16 to 26. Template 26 spreads one week over two portrait pages: print both and lay them side by side, or print them double-sided for a binder. If you would rather type your entries in before printing, the same weekly planners are available as editable Excel spreadsheets and Word documents.Free to download, with no sign-up
Every template on this page is free. There is no account to create, no email address to hand over and no trial that runs out. Click the download link under any template and the file is yours, ready to print as many times as you need.Terms of Use

Software and file compatibility
Every template is saved in PDF (.pdf) format, the ISO-standardized document format (ISO 32000) that every device can open.- Nothing to install
The file opens straight in the browser you are already using, on Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android and Chromebook alike, in Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. Most computers also have a PDF viewer built in, such as Preview on a Mac or Microsoft Edge on Windows, so a double-click is usually all it takes. - Or use a dedicated PDF reader
Adobe Acrobat Reader is free for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS, and free alternatives such as Foxit Reader and Sumatra PDF open these files just as well. None of them is required: use one if you prefer it, not because the template needs it. - Open it from Google Drive
Upload the file to Google Drive and you can view and print it from anywhere you sign in, on any device, without installing anything. - Printing from a phone, tablet or Chromebook
You do not need a computer to get the template onto paper. On an iPhone or iPad, open the PDF and choose Share, then Print, and any AirPrint printer on your Wi-Fi will pick it up. On an Android phone the same works through the print option in the share menu. On a Chromebook, Ctrl+P sends it to any printer already set up in Chrome. If there is no printer within reach, save the file to a USB drive or email it to yourself and print your template at the office, at a library or at a print shop.
